Vacation Bible School

This week our church is holding our annual Vacation Bible School. It is the highlight event of the year. Easter and Christmas are huge, but both combined do not hold a candle to our Vacation Bible School.

We literally have a couple of dozen adults that work to make this event possible. It is amazing to see the dedication and hard work being put into this event. I am mildly involved, but for the most part it is thought up, organized, prayed over, and ran by the congregation of my church. It is awesome!

The first night we had sixty something kids in attendance. It was also 102 degrees outside, and it was started on a Sunday night. Last night we had one hundred plus kids in attendance. My guess is that tonight we'll surpass 125 kids, and nearly 175 by Thursday night!

I am very proud of our church and their zeal to serve the Lord. Please keep our VBS in your prayers...
