The Power Team

February 21-25, Cornerstone Church in Boone is going to host The Power Team here for a special crusade.

We had The Power Team come to my church in Hawley, MN in 2005. It was probably the biggest success for evangelism that I have ever witnessed. Entire families going to the altar together to accept Christ. It was absolutely awesome.

The community has not responded like I had envisioned that they would, but the schools in our area have all opened the doors for them to present their message against drugs and alcohol to the students. They will not present the gospel in the schools, but they do share the Good News at night at the crusade.

The above picture was taken in Hawley, MN. That is me lying underneath hundreds of pounds of ice while John Kopta smashes it with a sledge hammer! I'm sure I'll get roped into that again. The guys from The Power Team that are coming are: Craig Lemley, Willie Raines, Carey Leighow, Ray Clark, and Tony Ellison.
