Mother's Day

This is a photo that was taken Christmas 2004. My mother is seated on my grandmother's lap. I called my "Nanny" this morning to tell her Happy Mother's Day. I get so angry with her at how she let's her children treat her. They are such losers and do not appreciate what they have. I can say that because I lost my mom about three years ago to cancer. I miss her so much.

If your mother is still with you, despite what hardships there may be between you, be sure to call her today and tell her Happy Mother's Day. Some day I'll see my mom again in heaven and be able to tell her again face-to-face how much she has meant to me.

Prank call!

12:30 this morning the phone rang and Josh grabbed it quick (He was still up) and it was a prank call. I came downstairs to make sure that everything was ok. I got back to sleep to be awaken again at 1:30 from the same telephone number.

I took charge! I called her back (Caller ID rocks!) She immediately hung up when she heard my voice. I called back again and this time got her answering machine. Now I have her name and number. I will be making a call tomorrow, or should I say later today.

I stayed in bed for about an hour and was wide awake. So here I am in the office by 3:00 a.m. again today. I do have a pretty light schedule today, so I will definitely get a nap!

Needless to say, I am a grump today :(

New Blog... Kind of...

I have been talked in to giving regular daily blog thoughts on the church website. It is brief, but I have been keeping up pretty regularly. For those of you who frequent this site, you get get daily fresh stuff at the other site. I'll continue to feed this site from time-to-time.

One thing I will mention and ask for prayer concerning is my part-time teaching position at DMACC. I caught a student plagiarizing on his paper and had to turn him in. He is definitely guilty, but I feel very badly giving him an "F". I keep telling myself I am not giving him anything, this is what he earned. Would you please pray for this situation?
