Making a Blunder...

Why is it that at the most inopportune times that you make those huge blunders that could never go unnoticed? Oops, I did it again...

We are going to have our church Annual Meeting this Sunday. Part of the Annual Meeting is annual elections. Our church bylaws require that the nominations must be posted two weeks prior to the election. Guess who forgot? For those of you who are slow, it was me :)

Now we must entertain a motion at the beginning of the meeting to suspend bylaws and hope that everything passes so that we may proceed. What a mess!

It is good to know that we have a heavenly Father who knows us intimately and knows of our mistakes and blunders, yet He loves us with an unending love. I am so thankful to have a forgiving congregation, but I am eternally thankful to God that His love transcends all of my faults, failures, and blunders.
