These are the day-to-day thoughts from Pastor Jeff Lawson. I pastor a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Battle Lake, MN. This blog will hopefully help everyone who desires to pastor a church in a rural setting...

John 21

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, ‘Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ he said, ‘you know that I love you.’ Jesus said, ‘Feed my lambs.’” John 21:15 (NIV)

Whew! What a week! Praise the Lord! I hope that you have not felt bombarded with the daily emails you have been receiving this past week. I wanted to do everything possible that I as your pastor could do to ensure you had a positive holy week.

I believe that Sunday was awesome. We had 12 first time decisions for Christ yesterday! Praise the Lord! That brings our count to 26 first time decisions for Christ during holy week! Think about that, more than half of the churches in America did not have one single first time decision for Christ last year, and we had 26 in one week! Uff-da! Heaven is rejoicing! The game plan is to contact those people who made decisions and follow up with them this week.

I’m sorry that parking was such a hassle yesterday. We wanted to make sure that there was plenty of space for any late-comers. It all worked out well.

I pray that God would continue to bless you this coming week!
