Life

It is funny. Now that I am blogging almost daily for the church, I have no real interest in keeping up my personal thoughts. I know that I should visit this site more often, but it has lagged terribly.
Life in Watertown continues. Cindy has not been able to get a job yet. She has had some tremendous interviews, but nothing has transpired yet. I do believe that she will find something by the end of the week. I just took a part-time job as a night janitor in Plymouth. It is only two night s a week, but it will pay about $150.00 each week. Money is tight so I will make hay while the sun shines.
Last week I had the opportunity to go to Canada with a few buddies from Hawley. It was nice to get away and we caught a ton of fish. Cindy took the opportunity of me being away to vacation with her parents in Pennsylvania. It was a genealogy trip and they spent the week walking through cemeteries. Not my idea of fun, but who am I to say???
My energy is being spent on the church. I am trying to attain a permanent location where we can not have to tear down every Sunday. We need a place that is ours. I have one very good lead. Not sure if it will work out, but we will push hard to try to make it work.
We have the grandkids this week. Cindy has them at the beach today. It is nice to have time with them. Khloe stayed home, but maybe in a couple of weeks we'll have a chance with her as well. She is quite the chunk!
I had my one year appointment with my Gastric Bypass. All of my numbers are healthy and I have lost about 110 pounds in a year. It is just amazing!
